Claims to be able to robustly and efficiently detect abandoned/removed objects based on background subtraction, foreground analysis, and tracking.

Background is modeled by 3 Gaussian mixture models. These same models are used to detect static foreground regions without extra computation cost.

Might be useful when dealing with stopped/parking cars which are stationary for long time.
