My whole speech was dedicated to getting you off your ass and developing your
emulator some more.

I understand how many *thousands* of lines of code it takes to emulate game
hardware. the problem is that I really wanted to get nullDC to work and it
wouldn't work on my machine no matter how many suggestions I tried.

Also, if syscalls.bin and ip.bin are my BIOS problems and apparently a lot of
others, howcome there is no link to download it? If it is such a vital piece of
your program why wouldn't you include it instead of making people go hunting
for them? Or at least explain how to get those files... but no. I have to do my
own research, and I still can't find either of those files anywhere let alone
dump them with a dreamcast that i don't have...

Maybe I insulted you, Im sorry, want some ice cream? Dude seriously, if you're
gonna make an emulator (something thats going to take a huge amount of your
life to program), make sure everything it needs is in one package.

I had no problems getting demul to work, or chankast for that matter, but I
don't like the sound in either one and I wanted to see if nullDC has better
sound. Let me know when you have a functional build that works on x64 without
having to manually patching it a dozen times.

Hey, it's not our fault. It's your fault for using it. Just go use something
else and everyone will be happy. :)

hum, seems i missed the fun ?
Actually, neither syscalls.bin nor ip.bin are required for emu usage -- only
for developers :p

Anyway, i'm soo happy right now, can't be bothered to explain how stuff works ;D

no its cool guys, i am happy with another emulator. its just that i tried to
support your emulator and you didn't provide documentation with it.

plus i was just a drunk angry asshole who directed my rage at you
unintentionally.. sorry.

mykalcook: Next time, give a more detailed description of the problem and give
your specs and configuration.
It would also be a better choice to use a forum if you just can't run the thing.

______________________________________________________

Could it just be that I can't run this program in x64? I know that MSVCP100.dll
was the previous reason why I couldn't get nullDC to run but I installed the
x86 AND the x64 2010 C++ redistributable...... so i'm stumped.

Have you tried updating DirectX? Most people think that they've already got
the most recent version, but most people need to update it before they can
start playing. I had the same problem, and I was so sure that I didn't need to
update it. I finally updated it, and nullDC worked.

Just update the DirectX, and that *should* fix all your problems.

i ran dxdiag at the run bar and found i have dx11 installed, but i have also
installed dx9c because several other games i play use it, and i also have it on
a file server.
