@ncri is this backwards compatible? IMHO It looks like it is.

@simi Not sure, it's a long time I worked on this. ;-) And named routes are not working yet as far as I remember. In one of my projects I started using https://github.com/enriclluelles/route_translator as it is maintained. This repo here is basically dead.
