Use host-gw as flannel backend? #128

The host-gw backend for flannel is supposedly a lot more performant compared to vxlan. [0]

I was just wondering if you had considered or tested this option before. aws-vpc is a good option to have as well but it requires extra setup and comes with a big limitation.

I did briefly try aws-vpc but couldn't get it to work at the time. I will be taking another look at it soon

I think it everything has to be on a single subnet for it to work. I actually couldn't get it to work with multiple subnets either.
