index.html file not reading the published exhibit.json file #56

Hi team,

Im interested in generating a minerva story for a recent publication we have, mostly for educational purposes.

I ended up installing and running the app from a cloned github repo https://github.com/labsyspharm/minerva-author/ rather than the executable.

I created a really quick draft of a story and the preview looked good at least to me.

But when I published the story and tried to load the index.html file, it seems to just load an empty screen Screen Shot 2022-11-14 at 5 09 09 PM

All the files are hosted locally on my laptop right now. Is there something im missing to publish the story?

Hi @ninning, I'm happy to help make a Minerva Story. If you are still working on this issue, would you please share your index.html file, either in this issue, or in response to the email I have just sent you?

Hi John.

Thank you, I did end up getting it to work for the most part. Unfortunately it was awhile ago and I don't remember the exact steps i took. I remember it was an inconsistent error, sometimes I got publishing to work on github pages and sometimes it just showed a blank.

I have the index.html file hosted right now on this github repository and the web visualization does function for the most part. https://github.com/ninning/wyss-retreat

Although I think theres still some issues even with this one, for example the scale bar doesnt seem to load.
