Ubuntu 18.04 - Double click needed to open birthday list #97 #14

In Ubuntu 18.04 a double click is needed to open the birthday list (window), instead of a one (left?) click. When the icon is clicked once (left or right), the menu opens. For the first opening of the birthday list window, three double clicks are needed, to close the window another double click is due. After the first opening & closure of the birthday list window only one double-click is needed to open and close it again. Any tips how to address this?

I can't reproduce.

You're using Gnome. I run Mate and it works fine.
