Not sure if this will work on Launchpad, but when I was tinkering with the script trying to figure out why it didn't work for you on Push 1, I figured rather than all the deletion/manual entry in the script file, I created a variable for it in MIDI_Map.py. Again, can't test on Launchpad so I can't say it will work for you for sure, if it doesn't just reject the pull request, but if it does I thought I'd share my findings.
