Online Sync is Stall for Last 3 Days #54

Hi Team,

The Dogecoins I receieved were not displayed as Spendable. So even after 4 days I saw "Spendable 0" Whereas balance displayed the dogecoins.

So I thought to Sync the complete network so that they are available as spendable. I tried to do full sync by clicking "Reset Blockchain Transactions".

The sync started but it is still at the same half progressbar for three days now.

I have the complete wallet backup which shows the balance. How much time it can take to sync complete? or is there any workaround to make them spendable quickly?

Found a post on reddit that pointed me in the right direction.

Try opening your multidoge.properties file in your MultiDoge directory, looking for the lines that look like:

addnode=
peers=

and replace those two lines with this:

I have no idea if all those peers are necessary, but this allowed my wallet to sync after weeks of being stuck :D

Thanks for this fix. This should work.

I tried another solution which worked for me. I exported private key of wallet and sweeped into android app . Then the android app was quick to sync with network.

@umarhayat9 I'm a novice. Would you kindly be able to teach me how I can sweep the private key of the wallet into the android app? And which android app as there are a few dogecoin apps for android, i have 2 installed on my phone now, dogecoin wallet from freewallet, and dogecoin wallet from langerhans thank you in advance
