The footnote in a box does not appear at the bottom of the page but within the box on the next page. 3-minimalism.tex #3202

The textbox is in 3-minmialism.tex at the very end.

We have no control over this option since it is hard-coded in tcolorbox.

This is listed as a known limitation in the tcolorbox manual. Since the issue is known and supposedly work on it is in progress, the only thing we can do is wait.

OK. Then the trick seems to be to start a new box. Can you please tell me how to do a box without a pencil or so?

Grey boxes w/o symbols can be created using 

\begin{tblsfilled}{heading, leave empty for simple box}[colour, defaults to 12% black]
Content
\end{tblsfilled}

Personally, I'd prefer integrating that one footnote to the main text. Hacking, tricks, etc. are always short-lived.... The next change in page breaks will require an update to the distribution to individual boxes.
