Closed s1rc closed 5 years ago

s1rc commented 5 years ago

Description:

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Run composer require laravel/slack-notification-channel in the project.
  2. Dispatch a notification to the user
  3. Results in Driver [nexmo] not supported.
driesvints commented 5 years ago

This package uses auto-discovery to load the provider. What's the output when you do a composer require laravel/slack-notification-channel?

s1rc commented 5 years ago
Using version ^2.0 for laravel/slack-notification-channel
./composer.json has been updated

Discovered Package: laravel/nexmo-notification-channel

Seems to work?

s1rc commented 5 years ago

Still results in Driver [nexmo] not supported. without adding the provider manually to the app.php

driesvints commented 5 years ago

Can you copy/paste your app.php file?

Your App\Providers\BroadcastServiceProvider::class is commented out. This needs to be enabled.

s1rc commented 5 years ago

Ok, I uncommented that class, still the same error.

BroadcastServiceProvider is the same as on https://github.com/laravel/laravel/blob/master/app/Providers/BroadcastServiceProvider.php

driesvints commented 5 years ago

There's a similar issue for the slack driver here: https://github.com/laravel/slack-notification-channel/issues/14

I tested that one out and it works for me so I believe there's something specific to your app why it's not working. If you can create a test app which recreates this problem I'll look into it. Feel free to reply once you did.
