Process Comments Locally Export Broken in v1.4.0 #35

I'll attach a screenshot to illustrate that all looks well: I've pasted some comments from an email, processed locally, and it all looks good to go. When I hit Save File, the Avid marker .txt is completely empty, and the Resolve EDL simply has "TITLE: Marker Toolbox FCM: NON-DROP FRAME". Screenshot 2024-08-12 at 17 50 54

Sorry you're having issues!

That's weird! Are you able to share the text that's doing this? I wonder if it's the dashes (-) that's breaking things?

I've been able to track down the issue. APOLOGIES!

Will try and push out a fix ASAP.

This should be fixed in v1.4.1 soon!

I’ll paste the text from the email below. Before putting this in Marker Toolbox, I replaced the periods in the producer’s timecode with colons.

04.54 – Good take out, re colours.

05.50 – Could you stabilise the camera wobble or cover please?

08.41 – Not sure about this track, maybe a shade too exuberant?

11.38 – Can you smooth the music fade here.

11.58 – I appreciate the time the crew have taken to capture shots like this.

14.15 – Any more comment on why there are two kitchens?

16.02 – Can you try and drop the exposure on the window, or is there a CA of the view exposed for outside?

23.05 – Do we know if this is in the dorma? We ref it going in, but I don’t have any sense of what’s in it.

24.10 – Really like the playful tone.

26.00 – Any other takes, I’m finding the reflection of the skylight a little distracting.

27.13 – What’s the green flare on the dorma window?

V1.4.1 is out now on the Mac App Store - let me know if that fixes your issues. Fingers crossed!
