I have installed check_logfiles-3.8.1.2.tar.gz on centos : CentOS release 6.8 (Final)
The configuration file is : /usr/local/nagios/etc/check_logfiles.cfg $scriptpath = '/usr/bin'; $seekfilesdir = '/usr/local/nagios/log'; $protocolsdir = '/usr/local/nagios/log'; $prescript = 'sudo'; $prescriptparams = 'setfacl -m u:$CL_USERNAME$:r-- /var/log/messages'; $options = 'supersmartprescript'; @searches https://github.com/searches = ( { tag => 'Messages', logfile => '/var/log/messages', rotation => 'Linux', criticalpatterns => [ 'xinetd.START', 'xinetd.*EXIT' ], criticalthreshold => 1, warningpatterns=> [ 'snmptrapd' ], warningthreshold=> 1, } );
When I launch the command , I have an error message :
