Support for mpeg psm #8

Would be possible to support mpegps files with a program stream map PES? Currently dvdauthor gets incredibly confused by it.

Use FFmpeg with either “-target pal-dvd” or “-target ntsc-dvd” to convert the video to the right format for a DVD-Video disc. Then dvdauthor should have no problems with it.

I'm not trying to convert to the "right format" I'm trying to feed dvdauthor a near properly formatted mpegps that should be that way.

Without the stream map everything works correctly, from what I can see the code does not grok the element and some demuxers then work without it just fine other require the psm.

As far as I’m aware, such a thing is not part of the DVD-Video spec.
