[x] I checked the MineColonies/Structurize wiki and made sure that my feature does not already exist.
[x] I made sure that this feature request is not a duplicate of any existing feature request.
Context
Minecraft Version: 1.20.1
MineColonies Version: 1.1.427-BETA
Is your feature request related to a problem?
No, this feature request is not related to a problem but is aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience by introducing new dynamics to village life through a Bartender profession.
Feature description
I propose the addition of a Bartender profession to MineColonies, focusing on crafting refreshing, non-alcoholic beverages for villagers. This new role would offer villagers a place to socialize and relax after their workday, enhancing the communal spirit of the village.
Beverages to Include:
Carrot Delight: Made with carrots and water.
Golden Nectar: Using golden carrots and water.
Melon Medley: Melon slices and water.
Harvest Blend: Pumpkin and water.
Sweet Cane Drink: Sugarcane and water.
Berry Refresher: Sweet berries and water.
Floral Tea: Any flower and hot water.
Creamy Pumpkin Mix: Pumpkin, milk, and sugar.
Berry Cream Delight: Sweet berries, milk, and sugar.
Melon Cream Cooler: Melon slice, milk, and sugar.
Warm Cocoa: Cocoa beans, milk, and sugar.
Chilled Choco Treat: Cocoa beans, milk, sugar, and ice.
Villagers would occasionally stop by the tavern during the day to grab a refreshing drink, and sometimes at night before heading home. For Couriers and Guards, the tavern could provide a slight temporary boost to their skill gain or a minor speed boost, representing the rejuvenating power of a good refreshment.
Additionally, in times of mourning, villagers might gather at the tavern to remember their loved ones, adding a layer of depth and realism to the game's social aspects.
It's important to note that all these recipes are just a few ideas I had, ti have a bit extra fun within our game and are designed to be suitable for players of all ages. For those who customize their game with other mods, these recipes could optionally adapt to include other types of beverages, respecting everyone's way of playing while keeping the default experience welcoming for all.
Incorporating these drink options and social dynamics would add a charming aspect to our gameplay, enriching the village atmosphere and making the Tavern a cozy spot for our villagers to relax and connect.
Notes or related things
These features aim to deepen and enhance the villagers' social behavior without compromising the family-friendly ethos of the mod. By potentially integrating with mods that introduce additional beverages, we could consider more mature themes, such as the inclusion of effects if the beverage contains alcohol.
For example, a small percentage of villagers might occasionally stay the entire night at the tavern, only returning home to sleep in the morning. This behavior could be more prevalent among unemployed villagers or those who have recently lost a loved one. Such villagers might not adhere to their normal waking schedule and could exhibit reduced efficiency in their duties the following day. Another dynamic could involve villagers occasionally sleeping on the streets if they've had too much to drink.
While I recognize that the inherently family-friendly nature of the mod may not align with these behaviors, I am suggesting them as additional, optional content. These aspects could be gated behind other mods that add alcoholic beverages, maintaining the core mod's family-friendly foundation.
