- Gff Name attrib corresponds chado.feature.name
- In ongenome, genomodel.genemodel_name should now consistently correspond to gff Name attrib/feature.name
- Genomodel.chado_uniquename should consistently match gff ID attrib.
- And, genomodel.genemodel_name to be used as display name, hence shorter and should be varchar(32).
- Ongenome loader should take care of this 32 char constraint for genomodel.genemodel_name
- Genomodel.chado_uniquename should have unique constraint so that when it is used independent of Chado, it should return a single object.
Sudhansu has suggested that we create a standard for the chado_uniquename.
This will be a discussion on uniqueness of name, name creation and matching. Currently, the genemodel ids from field 9 of the gff are used as lookup for the name.
