Seeking to give a physics related lecture #152

This is a little document I made to explain a question posed on Hank and John Green's podcast "Dear Hank and John." The question boiled down to, if a lemon man was standing on a scale and placed his hand in a bucket of water outside of the scale, how would the scale reading change? I made this quickly, as I was in a rush, so my handwriting is not amazing. I attempted to make something that could be understood by anyone regardless of prior knowledge.

Target topic categories: Physics

I would be interested in learning more about and collaborating to explain something in physics. I have experience with Classical physics, e and m, waves, and quantum mechanics, so I would likely be better at explaining something in one of those areas. I am especially interested in quantum, and I think it makes for a good challenge, but I am open to anything.

Target medium: Lecture style or lecture notes

I know it is a difficult goal, but I would like to one day become a college lecturer. It might be kind of lame, but I want more practice planning out a blackboard lecture: figuring out the flow of ideas and planning out space on the board. Right now, I am thinking of recording something in an empty lecture hall. I would alternatively be interested in making some form of lecture notes, or if you have any other ideas, let me know!

Additional context

My name is Jake, and I am an undergraduate studying physics. I don't have any particular talents with technology, but I think I can explain things reasonably well. It would be amazing if I could learn from someone who has experience teaching, or I would be happy to work with someone who has an idea for something they have always wanted to see a lecture on.

Would 112 be a good match?

I have a topic in my mind, which I call the "Glowing Gherkin". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4dLSVOKZwc

The part, I am interested in is, that the gherkin will only or at least primarily glow at one end, even if exposed to alternating current. (As is common in Germany, where I live.)

On paper, I already have tried to find a very simple model that can explain this and I did the calculations. (Nothing fancy. The most interesting part is integrating a sine and a cosine function. I hold a Master degree in physics, which I received in 2013. Since then, I did not pursue a career in physics but worked in IT, so it may be a little bit of a stretch to call me a "Domain Expert".) If you are interested, you can contact me via email at website@bathtubphysics.de. Unfortunately, I did not have the time, yet, to look into the "formalities" of SoME2 and how to officially register. That's why I offer the contact via email.
