How do I force turn of lan only mode on ban protection disabled? #288

I have disabled the ban protection in order to enable skin changer mods. However, I understand the risks of turning ban protection off. As the server is secured and will be turned on only when i play with my friends, I do not want it to be restricted in lan only mode

Did you disable lanonly mode both in the Sourcemod and Server tabs? In the Sourcemod tab there's one global option for sourcemod at the top and one option per plugin. In the server tab there's one global lanonly option.

Guess you read this: https://github.com/lenosisnickerboa/csgosl/wiki/Help-on-Sourcemod

I have disabled lan only mode both in sourcemod and server tabs. The game still says the server allows only lan client

Weird, looks like all settings are correct in csgosl at least. Sure all tokens/keys are still valid at Valve's?

Does it work if you skip all the sourcemod stuff? I.e. disable sourcemod completely, is your server published correctly then? If yes we can at least pin down the problem to sourcemod.

Screenshot 2020-10-23 214538 same issue with me @lenosisnickerboa !!! I have to manually edit /bin/cmd-start to get the server running on public! Please fix this!! I just ran on dry mode to check console feed!! How to stop enforcing that GSLT-less Lan only mode??

manicogaming commented 4 years ago

Yeah I also have the same problem, I would be nice to atleast have an option to disable the GSTL-less lanonly mode.

lenosisnickerboa commented 4 years ago

So basically an option "allowaspublicserver" added to the sourcemod tab, under option "banprotection" enable/disable is what you want?

From the sourcemod help page: image

The allowaspublicserver would negate all this, i.e. allow "+sv_lan 0", "+sv_setsteamaccount " and "-authkey " to be set when banprotection is disabled, right?

manicogaming commented 4 years ago

Yeah, that would nice.

lenosisnickerboa commented 4 years ago

OK, v2.9.3 contains this new option (after banprotection option). Please let me know if it works for you, I didn't want to risk getting my own server banned.
