Hey, really awesome that you made this mod and released, its pretty cool that I can switch inbetween my pixelmon forge and my pvp forge and people still think im on Lunar, especially since Lunar doesnt work on Mac.

I'm sure you're still really busy and perhaps no longer updating this project, but I think Lunar may have patched this mod? It doesn't seem to work anymore.

would love to hear if you're still willing to help me out, if not, that's fine. thanks anyway!

I actually got it working by using the previous version rather than the latest version. Was wondering if an 1.8.9 will come out in the near future. If so, I'm willing to donate a little to fund it.

I haven't maintained this mod in a while, however I was considering updating it and may do so. It wouldn't surprise me if Lunar has changed something in attempt to patch it.

I may update it to spoof the logo next to your name too, but I haven't done any research on how any of this works yet.

As far as donations go, these projects are completely open-source, and I would rather not profit off something like this since these type of mods I make are mainly just to gain experience in certain fields. This particular project I made was to learn more about Java bytecode and Forge modding, and I pretty much abandoned the project after a certain point.

I will probably bring it back though. Some people have been asking it too so I will probably work on a new version. As far as the current two versions go, the old version may work better, but the newer version should work against some API's where it may not work against others. This mod was mainly made for public API's that people made to try check if people were on the client.

Thanks for your email, I appreciate such a comprehensive response and how humble you are about your work. If you do decide to continue and port it to 1.8, I’m sure a lot of people would like it :P. For now I’ll probably go on the mcmarket and find a dev who could do that.

Moreover, was wondering if you have a portfolio or perhaps a website. I have a few friends making a very large scale network, and was wondering how far your expertise goes in coding. Just hit me up with a portfolio of website and I can send it over. If you’re not interested, that’s fine too.

Making a port for 1.8 (or any version) wouldn't be hard, I just need to get the correct mappings for the methods/fields. I'll get around to doing it some time before or after updating the mod, but I imagine it wouldn't take long as the only difference between both versions are the names of fields and methods.
