Why do we need an Arduino? #2

First of all, thanks for the cool project :)

That said, it should be possible to control the servos via the Pi GPIOs directly, shouldn't it?

Thanks! Yes you could, doing something like this. When I did some initial experiments (a while ago now) there were delays in the responsiveness of the Pi, because a Pi3 is running at high capacity when running Chromium headlessly. But I didn't experiment much and it could definitely be done.
