LAS VEGAS - It's will remain blocked after reach 1000 points..... #69

Hi @leiradel

Problably recently you have received an email from Luca (Madrigal) because i'm contact him from your site about this issue/trouble.

Try to explain and reproduce the issue: Recently i have add to in my Retropie collection the entire collection (59 .mgw files) of Madrigal Game&Watch and i try to play some of this. I have do a lot of fun instead Las Vegas.... it's be works whitout any problems but when you move left and right for collect the drop down money and reach 1000 point your can roll the slot machine himself and try to win. After that the emulation/simulation goes completely in crash/freeze........ you can't do anythings....... only RESET the simulation (using the hotkey combination HOME + X button) or close directly retroarch (using HOME + START combination) and back to emulation station.

After that i have try one thing....... i have tryed to install Retroarch on windows and after i do the initial configuration also here it's obtain same issue whit same games and i don't know if it's the main core the issue or it's the .mgw....

Ah.. i have also tryed to windows stand alone of games....... the standalone it's works and you can continue to games also after 1000 point...........

I can add some other info about that:

I have downloaded Retroarch for windows and after first initial setup i have download the Game & Watch core (version 1.6.3 it's say) and loading the same games..... las vegas.mgw :)

Reach 1000 point and BAAM........ all freeze also here: immagine

I have saved this screenshot........ if it's need i thinks i can also try to register a gameplay (and put private on my youtube channel for example). Wait for some news and i hope i have report a good feedback :)

Hi @DjDiabolik

Can you attach the RetroArch log output at the time of the crash? It should contain an error message that will help fix the issue.

@leiradel oh yes......... i can try to obtain this file.

You preferred this on my Pi4 or on Windows setup of retroarch ?

On pi4 retropie problably i can obtain a log by runcommand........

On windows retroarch how it's saved this retroarch log ?

The error message will be the same so it's up to you.

I'm not sure where RetroArch keeps the log file.

@leiradel on retropie on pi4 it's appears a message when i load the games.... it's the emulation log it's be saved on a files called runcommands.log.

I can also try to run the games whit a debug information........... wait about 10 minutes try to run this games on my Pi4 and reach 1000 points :) After that i pick this files saved on my PC and post here........

I have start the games............. a files called runcommands.log it's be saved on /dev/shm/runcommands.log.

Immediatelly after the games start this files contain this: https://justpaste.it/9n2bc

Now try to reach 1000 points.....

@leiradel no good.......... have reach 1000 point whit a normal log........ the runcommands.log contain also the same text posted on previously justpaste link.

Now restart the games whit the debug info............... re-reach 1000 point and go check if this same file contain a lot of more information..........

@leiradel i can confirm....... i have restart another match and i have put in pause retroarch before to reach 1000 points......

Infact the runcommands.log doesn't contain the very last line:

@leiradel yeah... reach the 1000 point another time and this exactly lines are be reappears also in this session runcommands.log whit verbose option :) I don't have idea if the games goes in stuck if i win the 777 slot try......... i never WIN this fu***g slot here :)
