What steps will reproduce the problem?
11. iTunes should then begin to restore the firmware on your phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- The expected output is that iPhone restores to firmware 1.0.2
- What i see is that iTunes stays on Wating for iPhone, before it can start the
restore process.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using iNdependence 1.3.1 on an Intel Core 2 Duo under Tiger 10.4.11

Please provide any additional information below.
I couldn't performe the downgrade of my OOTB 1.1.2 but i'd tryed the downgrade
to 1.1.1 and it
works.

What is wrong?

THANKS!!!!!!!

I can confirm. This is an OTB 1.1.2 phone. Downgrading to 1.1.1 works
(quickly),
but downgrading to 1.0.2 stalls and never completes after 8 hours. Is it safe
to try
Activiation on it with 1.1.1 ? The Help docs say you must get down to 1.0.2
first,
but we can't.

dtreder:

in the FAQ of iNdependence sais that you can downgrade to 1.1.1 and do the
jailbreakme.com method, that
worked for me :). Altough is weird that iNdependence still asks for a downgrade
to 1.0.2 to activate and unlock.

Hope this can get fixed soon.

Thanks!
