It is currently possible to add a round 2 proofreader without there being anyone set up in P1 or time-stamper.

Can it be set up to either:

not allow later stages to be filled in before the project reaches that point (only one step at a time is possible) OR
can it show that pre-mature assignments are only 'reservations', where people are offering to help once the project reaches that point (and then notify them when it becomes 'their turn')?

I thought a lot about that... Today only the 'COORDINATION' can move a task to another stage. So, we know that the coordinator is not always avaliable to update the state of the task. What is probably going to happen is: the video is actually in an advance stage, but it was not updated yet: the users can't go ahead unless a coordinator update the video state. The workflow gets stuck. I'm not sure if its going to happen in the english team, but I'm convinced that it will happen in non-english teams.

The thing with 'reservations' have many problems: a extra field in the database; many things to handle, messy code; the user have to register his actions twice; it may discourage people to help because there is already someone to handle that task, which we know... not always actually does. We have to instruct people to only register actions that they already done. We can try this and if it doesn't work we can try a different approach. Ok?

Changed the issue to enhancement.

I agree about Reservations. The rest needs further discussion/brainstorming.
