Aggregate status menu integration #2

Hi, since a few versions ago all default system status indicators have been integrated in the same menu. Have you considered doing the same with this extension? It could work as follows:

What do you think?

As a reference, there is this extension by yours truly that works as outlined above: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1100/bumblebee-status/

Thanks for your work!

You're welcome! I thought about that, at first, but every design I tried looked clumsy. You see, printers menu can grow big (imagine more than 4 jobs), especially if you turn on the "send to front option" you get doubled items for every job. I didn't like that inside a dropdown submenu in a already filled system menu. As it is, I can easily show the job count next to the indicator (don't know if I can do that as a system indicator). I accept that your idea is closer to the gnome philosophy, but it has the "one more click" disadvantage that convinced me to drop it. I can only think that this could be an option (like the "show always" and "when printing" ), and I'll look into that, or maybe (I can hope) you'll look into that if you have some time. Thank you for your interest.
