Surface Laptop 3 updates fail - expected xxx got yyy

Applying the update seems to work initially, and no errors at boot time however after boot when I run fwupdmgr get-history every update has failed with error failed to run update on reboot: expected xxx and got yyy. See full log below:

Surface Laptop 3 Source file for updates is SurfaceLaptop3_Intel_Win11_22000_24.080.2664.0.msi

Issue looks similar to #29, and maybe related to #16 ?
