Another issue is that if an image has different vertical and horizontal resolutions, the current deepzoom generation fails. Perhaps need a cleaning preprocessor.

Sid has a protptype for zip or single image upload and deepzoom generation.

Unifying vertical and horiz resolution would be important -not just via squishing but via interpolation
