swipe "layer" cannot be removed

Clicking the plugin button does not seems to have any effect, where the user wants to stop using the swipe functionality.

When active the swipe tool, this will change the cursor, you need click in map for make swipe in active layer

Stop swipe tool, selecting other map tool (example Pan).
