Our team launching a side project - Salsa. It allows you to send crypto assets without paying gas fees in the native token of the chain you’re using. Here's the gist: you initiate a transfer, we lend you the chain's native token to cover the fees, and you pay us back with the asset you're transferring, along with a small commission. It's a simple swap that keeps your transactions smooth and hassle-free.
Example using ETH:
Alice asks Salsa for ETH in order to send USDT to Bob
Salsa sends Alice ETH and asks her to return the equivalent in USDT
Alice sends USDT to Bob + a small amount of USDT for gas (ETH) to Salsa
Initially, we are starting with various stablecoins on 8 chains (ETH, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Celo, Avalanche, BSC, Base). Access to the dApp will be done via whitelist & Salsa NFT ownership.
Proposal to LobsterDAO NFT holders:
Open access to the dApp to everyone who holds a LobsterDAO NFT;
In return - feedback re dApp & suggestions for improvements if you have them + bug reports!
