5 months ago There's a really interesting initiative on Drupal.org at the moment called "Same Page Preview". It would be worth keeping up-to-date with that. I have a feeling from the way it's going that it has a good chance of becoming part of Drupal core.
Also, here's a demo of what it might look like to have a live preview as you change the design of your LGD microsite.
