Hi, If we server our pbf files using this server is it compatible with arcmap? and can we show the pbf data servered by this server on arcmap or qgis too?

apollolm commented 4 years ago

Hi! This project is no longer maintained or supported. I recommend using another open source vector tile server - like Tegola, TileServerGL or OpenMapTiles.

@apollolm Thanks for the response, Actually I wanted to only check which kind of standards such as possible rest service details, we need to have to be able to show pbf vector tiles on the arcgis from our own server.

ArcMap (ArcGIS Desktop) does not support any vector tiles. ArcGIS Pro supports vector tiles from ESRI VectorTileServer REST Endpoint (no query is available) and from VTPK only. ESRI desktop apps DO NOT support XYZ or TMS Tile Servers. ArcGIS API for JavaScript and ArcGIS Runtime SDK's can read/View Vector tiles from ESRI and from third party. you have to provide stylesheet resource for third party vector tiles.

@geospatialmapmashup so there is not any way to plot TMS form vector tiles in arc map or arcgis pro. What about qgis? I only know about qgis vector tile reader plugin.
