I'm talking about aligning the game to the left, right, or center. This leaves a big space with super wide aspect ratio screens. In that space you can put buttons for game functions or whatever the user wants.
And finally, apply a png layer. This would be great for 4:3 or even 16:9 games that leave huge black bars on the sides. Since many people don't prefer to use full screen, because the game stretches and looks ugly with stretched and distorted objects.
Also, this would make the community more active in sharing layouts for games.
Added to this, putting buttons with custom png icons would be great, since the buttons would be themed to the game with their icons etc. but the buttons thing would be something difficult to do I think, I really don't know. It's not something that should be done for now.
