Server Crash Because of Insufficient Memory #35

I've noticed that the lsst server sometimes crashes when testing raft scale image. Here is what I have from the server log:

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: INFO: os::commit_memory(0x000000077011e000,
1014886400, 0) failed; error='Cannot allocate memory' (errno=12)

# There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue.
# Native memory allocation (mmap) failed to map 1014886400 bytes for committing reserved memory.
# An error report file with more information is saved as:
# /srv/lsst_proj/tomcat_server/apache-tomcat-7.0.76_dev/bin/hs_err_pid29438.log

I have already allocated maximum physical memory for it. So I think it's time to consider upgrading the server if we want to put raft-scale image into development.
