9 months ago All predictions will be assuming no-activity. There needs to be a very strong reason why these additional values are needed and cannot be calculated by the community. Given there are assumptions that go into other than a nuclear mag that's up to the community. I see this as a strong want not a need. If there is a reason why this cannot be computed by the community for the small number of comets compared to the inactive objects, please do post below.
There needs to be clarification for predicted magnitudes in SSSource for comets whether this field will show Nmag or Tmag from Horizons (keeping in mind that sometimes only one is computed by Horizons and not the other, depending on what information is available for the object, so might actually need a field to say what kind of mag it is, or documentation saying something like this field will show APmag by default, then Nmag if APmag is not available, and then Tmag if Nmag is not available), or this could also be addressed by having three magnitude/uncertainty pairs for APmag, Nmag, and Tmag, where APmag is populated for inactive objects and empty for Nmag and Tmag, and vice versa for comets, depending on how much additional burden this will introduce.
