@adamrzanek It would be possible to expose the box as a TV accessory (this has nothing to do with CEC), I'll tag that issue as feature request.

So you can turn off the tv accessory and tv will turn off? I’m sorry to bother you but i will not be at home about a week ;)

Is that why these functions show up as remote controls in the iOS Remote UI?
They don’t work for me and I’d rather them not appear in this list, is there any way for users to disable, remove or hide them?
