We've noticed that with statsd v1.5 when it acts as a feeder it creates a unique wsp file per fetch/post.
What you end up with is 1000s of wsp files in statsdnet/feeder/listeners/mssql-relay/lines, instead of one file.
Depending on the wsp file size and the frequency that the feeder fetches/posts the directory can grow by a gig+ per day.
