Unable to play unprotected 4K BD Folder #19

Every time I try to watch an unprotected 4KUHD BD Folder I get presented with UltraHD is not supported in this version. I know that 4K Playback is supported cause if I extract the main title from the 4KBD the resulted mkv can be played back and the application is even properly tone mapping the HDR content to SDR.

It would be nice If I could use the menus on these blurays I known protected is probably out of scope but surely unprotected shouldn't be an issue.

File playback is provided by open source libVLC, but Blu-ray playback is not. We still need a major update for UHD BD... I hope it won't take too long.

Well, I think you guys are a little behind, I just tried VLC on my Mac and was able to get full menus and playback for an unprotected 4k Blu-ray. Maybe your devs can talk to VLC devs for adding support to your app.
