I tend to open 5-6 instances of VS 2022 and once opened, I quickly go to each and open a different solution for 4-5 of them.
When I do that one or more instances do not load or show the color outline until I open the SolutionColors option page or re-open the solutions one at a time.
I'll try to gather more info on replicating this and will post it here.
