I didn't find any discussions about the problem we have: How is it possible to
connect a Mac (OS 10.7.) to the Server, i.e. with a browser (http://server:8051
does not work, the browser always want's connect to the internet...). With PCs
it work's fine.

tx
regards

I tested with mac os and it works fine. Maybe its a firewall issue.
Did i get you correctly

machine 1: windows server running on 8051
machine 2: windows client (works with browser on http://server:8051)
machine 3: mac client (does not work with browser on http://server:8051)

If its so, its probably not a rapla problem, because its a simple http request
and your mac client can't connect to your windows server.

Tx for you reply.

with our macs it doesn't work on every browser with http://server:8051. it was
not a firewall issue. every client want's a connection to the internet. We
asked a network professional and he made a new solution:
http://192.168.1.100:8051. with this adress it is working on the mac clients.

Thx for the update it looks like a network configuration problem: Ip works
servername not.
Nothing Rapla can solve. I close the bug.
