Resource attribute's selection popup list shold show the already selected items to avoid duplicates

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add new attribute of type resource to resource type A
2. link resource of type A to other resource of Type B 
3. link same resource of type A to same other resource of type B

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No duplicates selections. Selected list will be appended.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
