Active Sync with Outlook 2016 is waiting for server response #1512

Hello,

after installing on a clean 18.04 machine and restoring backup Outlook 2016 Clients can not connect to maib using Active Sync. Outlook responds "Waiting for server reply". IMAP and Webmailer show all mails.

I know this doesn’t help much but it worked for me.

Does adding an exchange account on a mobile device work? Can you have a look by running z-push-top or admin and check the accounts. Does the autodiscover url work?

I immediately stopped using it again since Z-Push still doesn’t show all emails in the inbox. Going to their site is also difficult. For me it’s mostly unusable and I wonder if we should keep it in the project.

Hello Yodax, Autodiscovery does not work. The servername and certficate have not the same name as the email-domain used for the user. Therefore autodiscover on IOS device fails. Same for readding the mail account again.

I just proved my dns-settings. all are correct. by manually entering the autodiscover path using my browser I need to authenticate. after authentication I am redirected to an empty webpage and I need to reauthenticate again. And I am stuck in a loop. When not authenticating I'll get an error message "GET not supported"

Im Z-Push-error.log sehe ich diesen Fehler

[xxxx@xxxx.xx] Not possible to determine class of request. Request did not contain class and apparently there is an issue with the HierarchyCache.

Z-push-admin has an option to flush the states. That might help
