Hello All,
So I've been working on some hardware implementations lately and I've been trying to find a way to do as much of the work as possible online so we can all participate. I started by creating a Fritzing (http://fritzing.org/) Library of all the potentially valuable components I have access to. The library is in a dedicated repo at- https://github.com/Cribstone/Fritzing-Parts but can only be viewed if imported into a local Fritzing client until I find a way to convert the files into something more web-friendly.
Another major discovery I came across in the process is being touted as "the github of Open Hardware"... Its called https://upverter.com and includes some pretty impressive group collaboration features! I created a team workspace at- https://upverter.com/Code4Maine/ and a project page for the Open Vehicle Tracker- https://upverter.com/Code4Maine/14ef0c3752626ff5/Open-Vehicle-Tracker/
I think it allows for unlimited participants, but I didn't want to add anyone without asking them first.
I'm thinking it could be useful as our hardware development tool if used closely in connection with Github... So I strongly encourage anyone involved in this project to take a look at the links I posted above and let me know your thoughts!
