Cannot install on new Mac M4 (clean macOS Sequioa) due to outdated OpenSSL dependency #2754

Bug Description:

Manticore was running perfectly fine when I upgraded my old M1 laptop from the previous version of macOS to Mac Sequoia.

However, I just received a new M4 laptop, and when trying to install Manticore as per the instructions of the manual, I get the following error:

"Error: openssl@1.1 has been disabled because it is not supported upstream! It was disabled on 2024-10-24."

As I understand it from the discussions elsewhere, it's probably related to the MySQL client being installed that depends on the old version of OpenSSL.

Also note that the problem seems limited to brew install manticoresoftware/tap/manticoresearch ; manticoresoftware/tap/manticore-extra seems to install just fine.

@mtruyens thanks for letting us know about this issue. What version is installed by homebrew in macOS Sequoia on M4 when you do brew install openssl?
