Not sure why this is happening

It's not the first time there have been issues with a Mantid component not filling the screen. Back in September I also had problems with the Instrument view (#27244 ). This has been resolved in PR #29432 .

Thought it might be worth mentioning in case it gives a starting point for solving this one.

Yes, it is the same problem on my 4k machine
