From the current version of Satellite Streets base map (v12), the aerial image for rural Mississippi (Starkville, MS for example) has been outdated for 3+ years -- the outlined building in the picture was demolished about 3 years ago and a new shopping mall was built on that site.
We have also received similar feedback from our CRP Menu Tool users that the satellite images for their fields in rural Iowa were also significantly outdated (6+ years).
Implementation
I know that the imagery coverage for urban area is continuously and more frequently updated. Is there any chance that these severely outdated images for rural areas can be prioritized and updated at least once a year?
