Default editor problem #2484

Even though I select the "Edit in id" option, "RapID" is always shown as default when editing the map. Even though I select others, "RapID" is always shown. How can I use ID as the default?

The editor you are seeing within maproulette is a Rapid specific iFrame, it's unrelated to the user setting/completion widget. The button in the completion widget the says "Edit in ID" is for opening external editors.

Right now we do not have a built in ID editor in MapRoulette. It's possible we could have a build in iD editor in the future, but I'm not sure when that would be if it happens.

Yea to further clarify @Sadrettin86

there's two editing modes in MapRoulette, Classic and Edit.
Edit mode will always show Rapid editor in the MapRoulette environment
Classic mode will let you choose which external editor to use, that is what the dropdown menu is for.

I understand that this might be confusing and we're working on a way to make that part of the UI clearer. In one of the upcoming releases you will see some improvement there. In the meantime I hope this explanation helps you.
