Ionic View - Ionic DevApp and Google Maps Plugin #2057

Current behavior:

I was having some troubles loading the map (blank screen) in my ionic project so I decided to clone the demo provided by you here (https://github.com/mapsplugin/ionic-googlemaps-quickdemo) and now is working but only if I run the application from the xcode emulator.

As you may know, Ionic has two very useful applications for testing, Ionic View and Ionic DevApp and some of the native plugins are working with them but I have not found yet the way of having the maps plugin working on these apps because I'm getting the same error than if I'm executing the application in a browser. (Maps never ready)

Am I missing something or there is no possibility of having the google maps plugin working in these testing apps?

This plugin does not support the browser platform

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with ionic. What are different Ionic View and Ionic DevApp?

You can see further information about DevApp here https://ionicframework.com/docs/pro/devapp/

As i have read right now, as ionic devapp is quite new, they are integrating the native plugins as far as they can but this is still not supported.
