Transmission is not downloading torrent with Error on Snake 1.3.2 v #188

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upgrade my NAS NS-K330 to Snake 1.3.2v using original bin file
2. Found Transmission service not running so started the service
3. Added torrent for download, but Transmission fails with "Unable to save
resume file: No such file or directory"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should have started the download but it failed too

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Snake OS 1.32v

Please provide any additional information below.

deleting /var/transmission and restarting the service fixed it for me.
Also double check transmission is pointing to the correct path.

I have the same issue but the fix did not work for me.
I deleted "/var/transmission" in "preferences" -> "Download to" -> saved the
changes.

But when i restart the service, i see "/var/transmission" again.
Now sure how to fix this.
