Last Wednesday, 17th January 2024, MBON co-chair Dr Frank Muller-Karger gave a presentation at the Distinguished University Professors Lecture (DPU) of the University of South Florida (USF). Frank´s seminal and pioneering contributions in areas of teaching, research, creative activities, scholarship and professional service were highlighted. His collaborative nature, and gift for finding paths, connecting people and building bridges and synergies to advance science were remarked on. Frank's talk addressing marine life, “Building a Better Understanding of Marine Biodiversity for Sustainable Ocean Uses in the UN Ocean Decade” can be watched here.
