Why include political messages at all? The project shouldn’t promote political views, as it distracts from the primary focus on railway services and feels inappropriate
Edit: I recently found out about this project through one of @marudor's talks and was surprised to see the political messages. After checking his Mastodon, it seems he enjoys trolling those who complain. It's his project, so he can do as he likes, but it raises questions about the focus and professionalism
I totally agree, the professionalism of this excellent service suffers from these statements. At least there should be an optiojn for frequent users to turn off the messages.
You are all aware that you are speaking about a service which is offered for free, without ads? What a joke questioning professionalism and focus, when professional websites sell ads to political parties. Maybe you should question your focus when crying here while you could fork... I'd love to see a turn-off button which disables the service as a whole when set - now, THAT would be trolling.
Professionalism is a set of standards that an individual is expected to adhere to in a workplace, usually in order to appear serious, uniform, or respectful. This is not a workplace.
I endorse this request. Everything about going by train that can be more fun so easily as with these slogans, should be. They make clear that the site is about connecting people and against separating them - like the train service we deserve.

Your logic seems a bit off. How do political slogans, which inherently divide opinions, promote "connecting people"? If anything, they risk alienating users who just want to focus on railway services without encountering contentious messaging. Wouldn't a neutral approach align better with the idea of inclusivity and connection?
I didn’t mean to come across as harsh; I was just caught off guard by these slogans, as I try to stay politically neutral. Wishing you the best with the project moving forward!
So, why do want others to comply with your view of the world. I'd argue there is no such thing as "political neutral". It's something you can only come up with, when you are guarded by the political system around you - which needs to be supported in order to exist.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm always frustrated when I see the very few slogans over and over again.
Describe the solution you'd like I want to see a wider variety of slogans.
