viewing recordings in new streaming-way stutters after some time on iphone 4 iOS5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. view a recording, after a few minutes it starts leaving out a few seconds 
which is repeated every few seconds. as if skipping some dropped frames, but my 
wifi level is almost at the maximum and no interference etc. other streaming 
services run smooth.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.2.0.821 on MP1.2.1.0

Please provide any additional information below.

Please reintegrate the old way of playing back a recording! It doesnt bother 
when a transcodation is necessary! Both ways beside each other was fine!

Same issue. View a recording works fine on firefox with silverlight. With ios5 
it stutters. 
Livevstreaming works great. 

Is there any known solution?
