Expected behaviour

ls output or just error

Actual behaviour

close mate-terminal

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Write in terminal

mate-terminal -e '$(ls ; sleep 10)'

MATE general version

$ mate-terminal --version
Terminal MATE 1.24.0

Package version

$ dpkg -l mate-terminal
mate-terminal  1.24.0-linuxmint1 amd64

Linux Distribution

$ cat /etc/*release
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa"
BUNTU_CODENAME=focal
